We create, support, develop and promote Industry
Corfo promotes the development of the national “Venture Capital Industry”, granting resources through Long-Term Credit Lines to Investment Funds that are constituted in Chile, and regulated by the “Law for the Administration of Third-Party Funds and Individual Portfolios No. 20,712”. These Lines are delivered through Financing Programs available to apply throughout the year, ranging from US$5.8 million to US$31 million.
These venture capital funds invest in Chilean companies with high growth potential, actively participating in the management of these companies, promoting their development, generating networks that facilitate their scaling and multiplying the return on investment, among many positive externalities for the groups. of interest.

Since 1997, the Venture Capital Financing Programs have been part of the public policy defined by CORFO. These remain in constant adaptation that go hand in hand with the needs of the industry and the Chilean entrepreneurship ecosystem. Venture Capital Funds supported by CORFO
Our Programs have supported more than 70 Funds, which have invested in more than 440 companies in various economic sectors of the country, from technology-based ventures, Biotechnology, Robotics, others inserted in Creative Industries to the development of NCRE projects, including Green Hydrogen projects, among many others.
